Diamant rosecut Amétrine / Ametrine lazurite and scorzaliteDiamond is one of the four precious stones along with sapphire, ruby and emerald. It is the mineral with the highest hardness on the Mohs scale. When it is more included, and therefore less pure, the diamond is often cut with a rosecut. This cut helps to enhance the brilliance of the diamond rather than its dispersion (as opposed to the "brilliant" cut). The base of the diamond is flat and the top has a multitude of triangular facets. Variety: Diamond
